Shareholders of Union Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday endorsed the proposed reduction of N54.4 billion from the bank’s share premium account aimed at restructuring its balance sheet for optimal performance.

The statement said Odu joined the board of UBN Plc in 2012 following the $500 million investment in the bank from Union Global Partners Limited, a private equity consortium
