The suspects: Samuel Akabueze, 31, and Onuoha Joshua, 37, both from Imo State, were arrested for driving a Lexus SUV with registration number LSD 666 GK “suspiciously” along Akowonjo Road.

The suspects were arrested by the police operatives attached to Idimu Division at the heels of the enhanced intelligence emplaced by Surulere and Idimu Divisions with a view to apprehending the suspects who are still suspected to have some arms in their possession.
The arrest was carried out by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad being a follow up to the directive of the CP to its Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, to place certain spots under surveillance and dislodge the criminals hibernating in the spots, especially at Ikeja, Agege and Alimosho.
