Prof. Osinbajo disclosed this Monday in a pre-recorded message delivered at the official launch of the Generation Unlimited (GenU) programme in Nigeria, a global multi-sector partnership that was initially launched in September 2018, in collaboration with over 200 partners. The programme has impacted more than 100 million young people globally through innovations and programmes in more than 40 countries across six continents.

Making this statement earlier Tuesday at the opening session of the 2021 National Labour Advisory Council, President Muhammadu Buhari, represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, also commended workers and other social partners for their cooperation and understanding in the resolution of issues in the industry, saying “workers also showed understanding in their demands.”

In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday to mark the World Press Freedom Day 2017, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, described as inaccurate the recent survey by Reporters Without Borders, which alleged that Nigeria’s press freedom rating has been on sustained decline since 2015
