“As volunteers, their contribution in the area of advocacy, public enlightenment and building partnership with our stakeholders has been quite instrumental since 1988 when we came on board

According to Bisi Kazeem, the Head Media Relations and Strategy of the FRSC, Oyeyemi said the enforcement was not to inflict pain on motorists and road users rather it was for commercial vehicle owners to voluntarily imbibe the culture of its usage and key into it

He said the Corps would continue to recognise that communication remained a vital part to retain common understanding and the need to balance various stakeholders’ handicaps especially with the economic challenges
