The Gypsy King’s trans-Atlantic promotional partners Frank Warren and Bob Arum won Friday’s purse bid in Mexico City with a £30 million offer.

World heavyweight champions Joshua and Fury signed contracts on a two-fight deal earlier this month, leaving dates and venues needing to be finalised.
That’s according to Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum, who is convinced everything will be signed off quickly.
The Top Rank CEO has been locked in negotiations with Joshua’s representative Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport over a potential unification bout this coming summer.
The controversial manager has come under scrutiny since Fury thanked him for his role in organising a two-fight deal with Anthony Joshua.
The third fight between heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury and former titlist Deontay Wilder is still on track to take place as their next bout, but it will not be on July 18 as originally planned due to the coronavirus pandemic, Top Rank chairman Bob Arum told ESPN on Tuesday.
