The 16 elected Peoples Democratic Party Local Councils Chairmen in Ekiti State have decried the alliance of the Senate Minority Leader, Biodun Olujimi, with members of the State House of Assembly that suspended them from office.

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, and the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Biodun Olujimi, on Tuesday continued their hostility by inaugurating parallel campaign councils for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Biodun Olujimi, has rejected composition of Atiku Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council in Ekiti State and called on the Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Uche Secondus, and the party’s National Working Committee to disband and reconstitute it.
According to the Campaign Council Director of Media and Publicity, Lere Olayinka, the council is to be chaired by the state’s former Deputy Governor and PDP candidate in the 2018 governorship election, Prof. Kolapo Olusola
The Senate Committee, led by the Chairman, Senator Kabiru Gaya, was received on behalf of the governor by his deputy, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi.
Olujimi spoke in reaction to a statement credited to the Presidency, where President Muhammadu Buhari allegedly blamed the National Assembly for the annual delay in passage of the Appropriation Act.
The Caucus meeting was called consequent upon the controversies over a meeting held on November 3, 2018, in which the Senate Minority Leader, Biodun Olujimi, was pronounced as leader of the party and a call was made for the dissolution of the State Executive
This was even as Senator Faseyi challenged his colleague representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Senator Biodun Olujimi, to come out openly to tell the whole world her role in the crisis rocking the PDP in the state, popularly known as Fountain of Knowledge
