The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Baba Ijesha is facing a six-count charge of alleged defilement of a minor.

A member of Baba Ijesha’s defence team, Mr Dada Awosika (SAN), made the assertion on Tuesday while cross-examining actress and comedienne, Ms Damilola Adekoya, alias Princess, the foster mother of the minor.
Mr Babatunde Ogala (SAN), the lead defence counsel, made the allegation on Tuesday during the trial of Baba Ijesha over six-counts of defilement at an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
Baba Ijesha was arrested in April for alleged sexual assault involving a minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo adjourned the matter after Princess was cross-examined by Baba Ijesha’s defence counsel.
Princess testified before an Ikeja Special Offences Court on Monday as the first witness for the prosecution, at the trial of Baba Ijesha on six counts of child defilement.
It was gathered that Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo adjourned the matter till tomorrow after the counsel for comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, also known as Princess, played primary evidence against the embattled actor.
Recall that The Eagle Online reported that the herbalist accused Ojo of engaging in prostitution, citing her trips to Abuja.
Ojo has been vocal in her call for justice for comedienne Princess’s underage foster daughter who was seen in CCTV footage being sexually molested by Baba Ijesha.
