The statement said: “We all know that the governor could not have ordered that the speaker’s office be sealed off because the existence of Adewale Omirin is insignificant to us and to the people of Ekiti State having lost the honour
The APC lawmakers, in an open letter to the governor, dated November 18, 2014, through their lawyer, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, told the governor to respect the doctrine of seperation of powers
“In the past three weeks, Mr Fayose has awarded contracts worth N2 billion without passing through due process,” the APC claimed.
In the statement by the state Publicity Secretary, Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the party described Fayose’s claim of ownership of the CCT as dishonest
He has however declined to sit on the case and returned the case file to the Chief Judge
The Special Assistant to Governor Ayo Fayose on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, who debunked insinuations that the government was not ready to pay the August and September salary, reiterated the readiness of the State Government to pay all outstanding entitlements of the workers
Fayose, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, in Ado-Ekition Sunday, said the administration would do everything possible to meet and even surpass the expectations of the people
The lawmakers were alleged to have met at a hotel in Akure on how to frustrate the government of Fayose through the House of Assembly
The aides include Hon. Segun Akinwumi as Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process; and Muyiwa Akin-David, popularly known as Cherry, as Chief of Protocol.
He chaired the panel that found Fayose guilty in 2006, which led to his impeachment in controversial circumstances.
Speaking at the ceremony, Fayose said he decided to inaugurate Omotosho as a sign of forgiveness, to let people know that he harboured no grudge against anyone

The Council also commiserated with the family of the former Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Omolafe Aderiye, who was assassinated last Thursday by unknown gunmen in the heat of the legal crisis instituted to disqualify Fayose
Fayose, who said Bamidele did not actually lose anything in the poll, said by all standards, the lawmaker remains a reference point of integrity, service and voice of the voiceless in Ekiti State any day
Fayose on Thursday said Aregbesola is “dangerous to Nigeria’s democracy” for allegedly calling on his All Progressives Congress supporters to dare security agents during elections
AFCO, which described Fashola’s comment as hypocritical, added that; “The major problem of our friends in the All Progressives Congress (APC) is hypocrisy and until they purge themselves, that hypocrisy will destroy their party
