Edu said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Calabar.

The Executive Director, NPHCDA, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, said this at a press briefing on Tuesday in Abuja.

The vaccine was administered on him in his office by his personal physician, Dr. Muhammad Usman, and witnessed by some Senators led by the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi.

Fayemi received a dose of the vaccine which was administered by the State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Oyebanji Filani.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the PTF Chairman, Boss Mustapha, made the declaration in Abuja.
