The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a notorious armed robbery suspect, whose gang had been terrorising the Abakpa axis of Enugu metropolis.

The police command in Enugu state says it has commenced investigation into the alleged armed robbery attack on a Catholic priest, Rev.-Fr. Paulinus Ilo, and his parishioner.

A statement issued by ACF National Publicity Secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim, made available to newsmen in Kaduna, said however that the quick response of the police in arresting some of the suspects was commendable.
