IBA in a statement on Monday particularly noted speculations that Senator Oduah was searching for a reason to approach the tribunal following the declaration of Dr Nwoye as the winner of the election.

Oduah is contesting for the Anambra North Senatorial District for the 2023 election, seat at the National Assembly, which she won, and has been occupying since 2015.
It was reported earlier that this was conveyed in a letter that purportedly served as a response to a request made by Concerned Anambra North Peoples Democratic Party Stakeholders. The group had asked the service to validate the senator’s claim of losing her NYSC certificate.
Oduah made the promise on Wednesday while speaking at an APC leaders and stakeholders’ meeting in Awka, the state capital.
Oduah, who represents the district, made the call while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Abuja.
In an Easter message she signed on Saturday, the lawmaker, representing Anambra North in the National Assembly, said with love, Nigeria would surmount its challenges.
She said that the level of women participation in politics and appointment into positions was still low, and urged that more women should be given chance or supported for elective and appointive positions.
She said that it was the desire to uplift the living standard of her constituents that made her venture into politics, and assured that she would do her best to ensure that the desire was accomplished.
