Makinde spoke when he declared open the Conference of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Ibadan on Thursday.

Buoro, a lawyer and mediation expert, made the suggestion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.

Fielded questions at a virtual interaction session with members of the French Business Confederation, Osinbajo said government’s effort was part of measures to attract foreign investors.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has tasked the Army chaplains and their assistants to embrace Alternative Dispute Resolution and dialogue in resolving social crises.

The consequent vigorous interrogation of the suitability of litigation as an exclusive formal dispute resolution model resulted in some alternative options: Alternative dispute resolution, among which are: Arbitration, Conciliation, Negotiation, Mediation, Early Neutral Evaluation and other hybrid processes.
