Lawan stated this in a speech delivered at the 17th Edition of the Daily Trust Dialogue, with the theme: “Twenty Years of Democracy in Nigeria: Strengths, Weaknesses and Opportunities,” which held in Abuja.
Abdullahi stated this against the backdrop of impending sanctions faced by Nigeria following its inclusion on the special watchlist of the United States Government over high cases of religious and ethnic persecution.
