Governor Bello in a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel Berje, described the Etsu Nupe as true, loving, courageous and a peaceful leader whose immense contributions to unity, peaceful coexistence and development of the society is reckoned with in the state, Nigeria and beyond.
The Etsu Nupe spoke at his palace in Bida on Wednesday, when the newly-deployed Commissioner of Police to Niger State, Monday Bala-Kuryas, paid him a courtesy call.
The Emir made the call on Friday night at the Tijjaniyya Islamic Religious Movement national prayer for peace and unity in Nigeria held at the Abuja National Mosque.
