The TESCOM Chairman, who was reacting to a statement by the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), which objected to the decision to hold the exercise on Monday and Tuesday on the grounds that the two days had been set aside for Eid-el-Kabir holiday, said that the exercise had been fixed long before the holiday was announced.

Six years after the government of Oyo State last recruited secondary school teachers, Governor Seyi Makinde has given a directive to the Teaching Service Commission to recruit 7,000 teachers, 2,000 non-teaching staff and 1,600 night guards.
The declaration was on Wednesday made by the Chairman, Oyo State Post-primary Schools Teaching Service Commission, Pastor Akinade Alamu, at an interactive session he had with School Managers in Saki Zone, Oke Ogun at the main hall of Ansaru Deen High School, Saki.
