The TUC made its stance known in a statement signed by its president, Festus Osifo.

The NLC, in an earlier statement issued by its Head Media/Information, Benson Upah, confirmed that Ajaero was on his way to attend the Trade Union Congress

It would be recalled that Ajaero had  been invited by the police to the IRT headquarters on August 20 by 10 am to answer questions

Following the arrest, the NLC alerted all its affiliates, state councils, and Nigerian workers, urging them to remain vigilant and on high alert.
