A former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has directed his supporters to stay away from the All Progressives Congress governorship primary billed for Sunday.
Alao-Akala, erstwhile Governor of the state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and 2015 gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, officially defected to the ruling APC in 2017 and had since been oiling his political machinery to contest again in 2019.
