Jibrin, who was suspended since September 28, 2016 for a period of 181 days, was recalled to the House on Tuesday following an announcement by Speaker Yakubu Dogara that the lawmaker had apologized to the House
This followed a letter of apology sent to the House by Jibrin, which was presented by the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, at plenary on Tuesday.
Jibrin had openly sought for private audience with President Muhammadu Buhari after his suspension for accusing the leadership of the National Assembly of corrupt practices.
In this regard, it has invited the leadership of the house for questioning
