Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have recovered a vehicle that was stolen in Ogun State.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development on Monday.
The police image maker said the vehicle was stolen in Sango, Ogun State, with the Divisional Police Officer in the area confirming same.
In a post on his Twitter page, Hundeyin said: “At about 2am today, eagle-eyed police officers of Ijora Badia Division spotted an SUV by the roadside with both front doors open; and the key still in the ignition.
“Vehicle was taken to the station.
“Documents, still intact in the vehicle, showed owner lives around Sango.
“DPO Sango was contacted and he confirmed that that exact vehicle was reported robbed just last night.
“Owner was contacted to come get her car. Investigation is on to apprehend the fleeing robbers.
