Nigeria will play Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti at the 2013 Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil after winning the Africa Cup of Nations title on Sunday.
Prior to the commencement of the 2013, the issue of who will hoist Africa flag at the Brazil 2013 generated a heated debate with the former Afcon champions, Zambia, laying claim to the ticket.
But CAF confirmed that the winner of the 2013 tournament, Nigeria will represent the continent.
Cameroon are the only Africans to reach the final, losing 1-0 to hosts, France, in 2003.
Nigeria will battle world champions, Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti in Group B.
