Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey, has been named the Young Player of the Season by Scottish champions Rangers.
This outgoing season has been a breakthrough one for the 22-year-old who could play at left back or in central defence.
He has made 27 league appearances for Rangers this season, which was a remarkable jump from his eight games in his debut season in Scotland.
He moved to Scotland in the 2020/2021 season as a free agent from Premier League club Leicester City, where he featured for the U23s.
Last month, he made his long-awaited international debut for the Super Eagles against Ghana in Kumasi.
