After weeks of anticipation, the management of Ondo State Football Agency (OSFA) has announced Solomon Ogbeide as the technical Instructor for all the football teams under the agency.
The Executive Director of OSFA and coordinator of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, Mike Idoko, announced yesterday that Ogbeide has been
employed as the technical instructor for the agency.
By his appointment, Ogbeide will coordinate the technical affairs of all teams under the agency, including
Rising Stars, Sunshine Queens and the academy, stressing that he was employed based on his experience.
Also appointed alongside Ogbeide are coach Henry Abiodun as Head Coach, Julius Kayode, a former junior international, as Assistant Head
Coach, Tokunbo Akinyelure as Assistant coach 2 while Busuyi Olu-Ibukun will
serve as goalkeepers’ trainer.
Similarly, Gabriel Aborowa,
who was the team manager when Sunshine Stars campaigned in both the CAF
Champions League and Confederation Cup has return as Team Manager under the new arrangement.
Meanwhile, the management has retained 27 players for next season’s campaign in the Globacom Premier League while the team will move to camp at the Rojenny Tourists Centre, Oba, Onitsha, Anambra State today.
They will camp for two weeks and thereafter, take a break for Xmas and New Year celebrations before embarking on a tour of Europe.
According to Idoko, since the league will resume after the CHAN, the management decide to send the team on tour of Europe, preparatory to the start of the season
