English Premier League side, Sunderland, are considering a move for West Brom misfit, Ideye Brown.
The 26-year-old has failed to impress following a £10 million move from Dynamo Kiev in the summer.
The Nigerian has scored just twice in 12 appearances on the back of a summer in which he was excluded from his country’s World Cup squad.
Sunderland were in the running for Brown last close season and hope a £6 million offer will persuade new Albion manager, Tony Pulis, to sell.
Pulis is keen to re-shape his squad and could use the money to boost his transfer budget.
