Stoke fans want Osaze Odemwingie to get a new contract at the Britannia Stadium.
The Vital Stoke community voted and made their voices heard as a resounding 85 per cent of them want Odemwingie to be given a new deal, whilst 12 per cent believe he should only be given a pay-as-you play deal, although 3 per cent of fans believe the Nigerian should depart the Potteries.
Odemwingie, 33, moved to the Potters in the winter of 2014 in exchange for Kenwyne Jones and hit the ground running for the Potters, scoring five goals in 15 appearances at the back of the season to help Stoke to their highest ever points total and position, but he got injured at the start of last season.
In his absence, the Potters once again broke records as they achieved their highest points total for the second season in a row.
Stoke have already made moves in the transfer window as they have brought in striker Joselu from Hannover.
The former West Brom forward was named on the Potters retained list but has yet to receive a new contract at the Britannia Stadium.
