The details of officers and men of the State Security Service have been breached, with its publication online.
Records of the officer and men, both serving and retired, were allegedly posted on the Internet by dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
The details released included home addresses and names of their immediate family members.
The data released covered over 60 personnel of the SSS, including its Director General.
According to Associated Press, which ran the story exclusively, the details of the DG released included his mobile phone number, details of his bank account and his son’s contact information.
Spokesperson of the SSS, Marilyn Ogar, was said to have declined comments when contacted by the Associated Press on Thursday.
