The planned meeting of the South West Governor’s Forum scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Monday has been put on hold.
This was contained in a statement by Olajuwon Soyinka, a spokesman of the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Soyinka said the South West Governors decided to put the meting on hold in honour of the Director General of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, Dipo Famakinwa, who passed away on April 21, 2017.
The statement added: “While we regret any inconveniences this might have caused, a future date for the meeting will be duly communicated.”
