South Africa’s net gold and foreign exchange reserves were at $41.308 billion in October, up slightly from $41.153 billion in September, Reserve Bank data showed on Friday.
Gross reserves, however, dipped to $46.051 billion from $46.126 billion previously.
The forward position, which represents the Central Bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, was at $2.228 billion in October, versus $2.19 billion.
