Sorting and counting of votes for Saturday’s House of Assembly poll has commenced across polling units in Osun State, the News Agency of Nigeria is reporting.
In most of the polling units visited, counting of votes started around 2:30pm.
NAN reports that the election was conducted in 26 constituencies across the state.
At unit 13, ward 4, voting point 1 and 2, Fagbewa junction, Osogbo counting of votes started at 2:30pm.
The process is ongoing across polling units in the state as at the time of filling this report.
The state had on September 22, 2018 conducted its governorship election, during which the then All Progressives Congress candidate, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, was declared winner.
