Nigerian international, Sone Aluko, is set to be offered a new deal by Fulham.
The Nigerian attacker has been heavily linked with Royals in recent days.
Whites boss Slavisa Jokanovic has admitted a number of bids have been rejected for the 28-year-old.
And the Serbian further revealed a contract extension is on the cards for Aluko to ward off interest in the player.
“In this moment the only job that I can do is to fight for Sone Aluko because around me there is some news that we are thinking about selling him,” Jokanovic told BBC Radio London.
“If we do this it will be big mistake for my team.
“Ultimately, it looks likely there could be a contract extension, the club have had multiple bids for him and have rejected them.”
