Manchester United defender, Chris Smalling, has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering injuries while on holiday in Bali.
The 26-year-old is believed to have jetted to the island after England’s humiliating Euro 2016 exit at the hands of Iceland in the last-16 stage.
Images of Smalling laying on a hospital bed wearing a neck brace and bandages around his head and left wrist have been circulating on social media, but the severity of the injuries are unclear.
In the picture, the centre-back, who is rumoured to have hurt himself while surfing, is signing his autograph on a United shirt.
Smalling’s injuries, which have not been confirmed, could put him in doubt for the start of pre-season training, which gets underway this month.
