Former Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia, has warned football loving Nigerians to beware of an alleged fraudster that parades himself as the organizer of a screening at the NYSC Camp in Kubuwa, Abuja on Saturday.
Siasia told sports reporters in Abuja Monday that there was a publication on nairaland.com that impersonated his soccer academy’s name, Sia-One.
The publication said the outfit was planning a screening exercise at the said venue in Kubwa.
He said he needed to warn his fans in order not to fall into the hands of the fraudster.
Siasia said: “I am using this medium to tell my fans in the country and across the globe that I am not planning any screening exercise for my Academy, Sia-One, at the NYSC Camp in Kubwa this Saturday. It is just the handiwork of a fraudster called Nigel Aisosa Oriakhi. I don’t know him and I have reported the case to the Police.
“The fraudster is asking innocent young players to pay certain amount into Access Bank Account. Please do not pay the said monies into this fraudster’s account. I owe football fans and young players in the country a duty to warn them of this fraudster.”
