Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan will have their hands full when they host Heartland of Owerri in a Week 12 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Wednesday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Oluyole Warriors will be aiming at consolidating on their away draw against Sharks and also moving up on the log.
With top players such as Gbolahan Salami, Mutiu Adegoke, Philip Asuquo and former Europe-based new signing, Olufemi Oladapo, 3SC appears to make a mince meat of the visitors.
The Ibadan outfit pipped new league entrant, El-Kanemi of Maiduguri, by a lone goal in their last home game and have gathered 16 points to place 8th while Heartland is occupying the 4th spot, with 17 points on the NPFL table.
At other venues, El-Kanemi will entertain Sunshine Stars, the league leaders; Kano Pillars will battle Nembe City; while Wikki Tourists will welcome Enyimba.
On Thursday, Sharks will travel to Ilorin Township Stadium to engage ABS FC, Akwa United tackles Rangers, Bayelsa United will lock horns with Nasarawa United while Dolphins and Kaduna United will slug it at the Liberation Stadium, Port Hartcourt.
Gombe United attacks Kwara United, just as Lobi Stars will seek maximum points against Warri Wolves at the Kastina Ala Stadium.
