The Senate on Tuesday adjourned plenary session till Wednesday over the sudden death of their colleague, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, who died on 23 April.
The Senate also scheduled valedictory session for the departed Senator for Wednesday.
The Senate’s decision was sequel to a Point of Order raised by the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmad Lawan, over the sudden death of first civilian Governor of Osun State.
The motion was seconded by Senator Philip Aduda.
