The Senate on Tuesday adjourned plenary session till April 7, 2020 over the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic in Nigeria.
The Senate took the decision after a closed door session, which lasted for about one hour 45 minutes.
Announcing the shutting down of Senate plenary, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, implored the Federal Government to assist state governments with funds to combat the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
