Semi finalists have emerged at the on going sixth edition of the of the Kaduna Corporate League Cup.
United Bank of Africa forced Micro Credit to a 1-1 draw to qualify for the semi finals, topping Group B of the tournament with seven points.
Micro Credit scored first through Dennis Naman while UBA equalized through Seun Aminu.
The second match in Group B will be played on April 20 between the Central Bank of Nigeria and Unity bank to decide who comes second.
CBN has three points, with plus two goals difference, while Unity bank also have three points with minus two goals difference.
In Group A, Diamond Bank defeated last year’s runners up, Zenith Bank, 3-1 to come second with three points behind Fidelity Bank, with six points.
Aliyu Musa scored the first for Diamond, Godwin Sylvester scored the second and third while Ikechukwu Onoya reduced the tally for Zenith Bank.
UBA will play Diamond in the first semi finals while Fidelity will play the runner in group B, CBN or Unity bank.
Meanwhile, Seun Aminu of UBA has promised to emerge the highest goal scorer of the tournament.
He is being lured by some scouts from Turkey.
