The Oyo State Police Command has launched investigation into the death of a secondary school pupil, who died while marking his birthday.
It was gathered the birthday celebrant, Tosin Daniel, died swimming at a river in Iresadu, Surulere Local Government Area of the state.
The victim was said to have finished writing his Senior School Certificate Examinations before the tragedy.
Incidentally, he wrote his last SSCE papers on his birthday.
Immediately he wrote the last papers, he told his friends that he wanted to mark his birthday at the end of his exams by swimming.
Tosin and his friends had gone swimming, but the victim drowned.
His death was said to have shocked people who knew him because he used to swim like a fish.
