The Plateau State Government said it has completed arrangements to accord a befitting burial to an elder statesman and Second Republic Deputy President of the Senate, Senator John Wash Pam.
In a burial programme released by the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Barrister Olivia Dazyem, the corpse of Pam will be taken from the National Hospital, Abuja on Wednesday morning (today) to Jos, the Plateau State capital, and put at the Nigeria Air Force Base mortuary facility in the town.
Dazyem told journalists that on the same day, a service of songs will be held at his residence, 35, Secretariat Lane, Jos at 2.30pm.
She added that on Thursday (tomorrow), the corpse will be retrieved from the NAF mortuary to the Government House chapel, Jos by 9am for a funeral service.
Dazyem added that shortly after the service, the body of Wash Pam will be taken to his home town, Foron, in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area for burial.
