Former Legislative Aides in the outgone 8th National Assembly are yet to receive their severance packages.
This was just as it was revealed that the Management of National Assembly has paid the immediate past President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, his several package.
According to available information, Saraki was paid N3.7 million.
Saraki’s Media Aide, Yusuf Olaniyonu, made this known via his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
Olaniyonu, however, said Saraki is working hard to ensure that his aides are also paid.
He tweeted: “This is to confirm that Ex-SP, Bukola Saraki has been paid his severance allowance. He got a total of N3,752,727.00. He has been working to ensure that his aides get theirs. And as you know, he had promised, to donate whatever the money is to three families that were announced.”
