The management of Rivers United Football Club has suspended its attacking midfielder, Kehinde Adedipe, indefinitely.
Adedipe’s suspension was contained in a statement issued by the club’s media officer, Sammy Wejinya, in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
The statement said the player’s suspension arose from his absence without official leave.
It said Adedipe’s whereabouts remained unknown following the club’s official resumption ahead of the 2019/20 season
It said: “The General Manager of Rivers United FC, Chief Okey Kpalukwu, explained that the club’s stance on zero tolerance on indiscipline stands as the club looks to achieve set objectives.”
