The House of Representatives on Thursday began the clause by clause consideration of the proposed amendment to the 1999 Constitution with a sharp disagreement with the Senate on the Devolution of Power.
The House approved the Devolution of Power proposal, a move that was aborted by the Senate on Wednesday.
With this, more powers would be given to the States.
So also did the House approve the 35 per cent affirmative action as proposed by the Joint Committee of the National Assembly on the review of the 1999 Constitution.
This was equally opposed by the Senate on Wednesday.
