The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has concluded arrangements to meet with senators elected on the platform of the party on Wednesday (today) in the Senate wing of the National Assembly.
The meeting is expected to discuss plans by the National Assembly to override President Muhammadu Buhari on the Electoral Act amendment.
The Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, made this known at the commencement of plenary session on Wednesday.
Our correspondent gathered that some pro-Buhari senators in the Senate decided to drag the National Working Committee of the ruling party to prevail on the Senate not to override President Buhari.
