Spanish La Liga side, Real Sociedad, has shown interest to sign Zambian striker, Jacob Mulenga, following his impressive season in the Dutch league, the Zambia Daily Mail reported on Friday.
The Zambian international, who has scored 14 goals at his Dutch side, FC Utrecht, this season, has also attracted the interest from English premiership side, Norwich City, and Russian premier league outfit, Kuban Krasdnor, according to Daily Mail.
The Dutch side, according to Spanish sports daily, marca.com, has however expressed confidence the Zambian international will snub offers to stay for another season after helping them qualify for Europe’ s second tier club competition, the UEFA Europa League.
The Zambian striker, whose contract expires in 2014, has been called to the national soccer team currently in camp preparing for two World Cup qualifier games against Lesotho and Sudan next month.
