Real Madrid are reportedly keen to rival interest from Juventus to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Frenchman has established himself as one of the best in his position in the world and his performances have caught the eye of the Spanish giants, according to Sport.
There have been doubts expressed about the team’s current holding midfielder Casemiro and the club believe Kante be be an upgrade.
Italian champions Juve are also interested in Kante and believe a transfer fee would be in the region of £70 million which is an accessible figure.
Frank Lampard’s youthful revolution at Stamford Bridge could mean that a generational change is taking place and the 28-year-old Kante might look for his next chapter elsewhere.
He might also be drawn by the allure of playing with compatriots Blaise Matuidi, Adrien Rabiot and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kante scored as Chelsea beat Southampton 4-1 at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon.
