The Management of Rangers International FC of Enugu has confirmed the death of Nigeria’s ex-Green Eagles and former Rangers’ player, Arthur Madueme.
The Media Officer of the club, Norbert Okoli, gave the confirmation to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Enugu.
Okoli said Madueme died at the weekend during a brief illness.
“It was a great loss to the Rangers International big family,” Okoli said.
NAN reports that Madueme, whose death came just four months after the demise of his wife, also played for Shooting Stars of Ibadan and BCC Lions of Gboko.
Arthur Madueme, fondly called Arthur Belly, was a former midfield maestro of the Green Eagles of Nigeria and other national club sides he played for.
