The Lagos State Public Works Corporation has announced that the rehabilitation of bad spots along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja will commence immediately to reduce incessant traffic gridlock on the road.
A release signed by its Head of Public Affairs, Ganiu Lawal, said the repair works commenced on Wednesday afternoon, covering different sections of the road from the descent of the bridge by General Hospital, Ikeja inwards Maryland.
The statement added that the rehabilitation of a major part of the road between OPIC Plaza to Sobo Arobiodu Junction inwards Maryland began from 8pm on Wednesday night.
The Corporation enjoined members of the public to endure the traffic slow down that may arise in the course of the road rehabilitation, adding that completion of the exercise will reduce travel time along Mobolaji Bank Anthony and other adjoining roads around the GRA and Ikeja bound traffic.
