Prophet Emmanuel Folorunsho Bamiduro, the General Overseer of Thy Word Is Life Ministry, based in Alagbado, Lagos State, who recently turned 50, is a firebrand in preaching the word of God and posseses a stroke of activism. For the past 27 years, Prophet Bamiduro has held the Christian world spell bound. He was barely 25 years old when he received the divine call. And he has not waned in spiritualism ever since. An exceptional character, Bamiduro’s pastoral intellect has compelled his passion for preaching. To Prophet Bamiduro, who recently attained the golden age, dealing with external unseen sickness transcends flaunting academic prowess.
His worries: “The christendom has been made a haven for mediocrity.
“When we started, things were not porous.
“Not until about 10 years ago when the church was taken over by those I will refer to as products of the Nigerian situation.
“Our greatest problem today in this country is joblessness.
“Most so-called pastors we see today are graduates who could not find jobs after leaving school and then resorted to preaching and deceiving innocent followers with big vocabulary.
“They preaches quick success without salvation.”
Prophet Bamiduro extolled the likes of Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Winners’ Chapel’s Bishop David Oyedepo, noting that the two men of God are examples of good Christian leadership because they humble themselves before the common man like Jesus Christ.
He however advised Nigerians to go into serious prayer in order to avert dangers he foresaw in the 2015 general elections.
