Fidelity Bank Plc has concluded plans to reward with N9 million the winners of the seventh edition of its Get Alert in Million Promo draws.
The draws held in various regions of the bank.
In a statement in Lagos, the bank said the promo was instituted to develop savings culture among its customers as well as ensure financial inclusion.
The statement was signed by Obara Odeghe, the Chairman of Fidelity Savings Promo Committee.
The bank said the winners emerged from a transparent randomisation process approved by its control team and witnessed by officials of the Consumer Protection Council and other regulators.
According to the bank, there are consolations prizes, including refrigerators and power generators.
It said four lucky customers from South West, South South, South East and Abuja regions of the bank won N1 million each.
It added that a customer from the Northern region won N2 million and one from Lagos won N3 million.
Fidelity bank said that 110 winners had emerged in the draws with a total of N65 million and consolation prizes.
It stated: “At the end of the seventh edition, we would have given a total of N74 million in cash.
“We still have a total of N31 million to be won.”
It also stated that it was committed to ensuring financial inclusion where the risk of keeping cash away from banks would be minimised.
The bank said the promo would assist in increasing the culture of savings and help to build businesses across the country.
It said: “What we have been trying to do over the past nine years is to support government initiatives and imbibe savings culture in the people.
“Beyond that, we are looking at rewarding our customers, who have been faithful and loyal to us over the years.”
