President Muhammadu Buhari has wished Vice President Yemi Osinbajo speedy and full recovery after he went through a surgical procedure Saturday to treat recurrent pain caused by a fracture in his leg.

The President’s message was passed in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

In the statement on Saturday, Adesina said the President gives glory to God for a successful surgery and prayed for Osinbajo’s “speedy and full recovery.”

Buhari also commended the medical team at the Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos for “their competence, and a job well done.”

President Buhari assured Osinbajo of the prayers of Nigerians and that of his family.
