A Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, was among the new aides approved for appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari for his wife and Nigeria’s First Lady, Hajia Aisha Buhari.
The new appointments were contained in a statement on Wednesday.
Those appointed and their designation are Dr. Mairo Almakura, Special Assistant on African First Ladies Peace Mission; Muhammed Albishir, Special Assistant on Organization of African First Ladies for Development; Wole Aboderin, Special Assistant on Non-Governmental Organizations; Aiyu Abdullahi, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity; Zainab Kazeem, Special Assistant on Domestic and Social Events; and Adesiyan as Personal Assistant on Domestic and Social Events.
The appointments, according to the statement, are with immediate effect.
