The Presidency has reacted to news reports that President Bola Tinubu has directed the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, to resign from his position.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, spoke on the report in a terse reaction on Tuesday.
The report alluded to the fact that President Tinubu was not pleased with the state of the economy, hence his directive to him to resign.

He tweeted: “It’s all lies.
